Fly with '90s band Sugar Ray at Universal Studios in Orlando
Pavlina Osta of Port Orange talks with '90s pop band Sugar Ray, interviewing in particular lead singer Mark McGrath and guitarist Rodney Sheppard.
By Pavlina OstaORLANDO -- I'm at Universal Studios with Sugar Ray before their performance. The band of the 90's that had such super hits as "Fly", "Someday" and "When it's Over" are super fun and relaxed before heading out on stage.
They started out loving to play music and they are still that way today - still excited when fans sing along to their songs. They're older now and talk to me about their kids and even ok when I throw a quiz question their way. Sugar Ray still has the mixture of reggae, rock, and pop. If I had a word to describe them it would be "fun."
This summer they are touring with other 90s groups - Gin Blossoms, Everclear, Marcy's Playground and Summerland. Their concerts are sure to be fun, energetic and a lot of great music.
